Deschutes River Jet Boat Trips

River Borne Outfitters one of the few fly fishing guide services with a permit to offer jet boat trips on the Lower Deschutes River!

We offer day and overnight jet boat trips on the Deschutes River for Steelhead from July through November!

Jet boat trips are ran up from the mouth of the Deschutes River and down stream from Macks Canyon.

Catch Chrome Bright Steelhead As they first enter the River! By fishing lower in the river you are targeting fresh and aggressive steelhead that bite well and fight hard!

Water temps are ideal for dry lines, and traditional patterns casted effortlessly with two handed spey rods.

Receive expert spey casting instruction and learn to swing up steelhead on the fly! Clients preferring to fish with terminal gear or single hand fly rods can be accommodated.

Top of the line equipment provided! Including R.B.Meiser and Sage spey rods lined with the latest fly lines, and armed with the most recent, best productive flies...

Clients will be met at the pre arranged launch at first light on day trips, and around noon on multi day trips. Day trips are 8 hours in length, and include a lunch, and beverages!

On multi day jet boat trips all camping gear, food, and non-alcoholic beverages is provided.

Your sleeping accommodations include double occupancy tents, and over sized cots with sleeping pads. Tent heaters are provided later in the season.
