About River Borne Outfitters
Established in 2008, River Borne Outfitters has a long standing reputation of providing safe, successful fly fishing trips on the Deschutes River and beyond. Outfitting and guiding hundreds of anglers over the years on the Deschutes, and Crooked Rivers and providing many adventures along the way and fish in the net!
In 2015, River Borne Outfitters got the opportunity to expand its operation after acquiring the Deschutes River Fly Shop & Camp. A destination fly shop, campground, RV Park, store and more across the HWY from the river and minutes to the Warm Springs boat ramp. One could not imagine a better home base for a Deschutes River guide service than the camp!
Operating now over 8 seasons out of the camp we have fully integrated the two. It is what separates us from the many other excellent guided fishing operations on the Deschutes! With the ability to provide lodging, camping and RV stays for our clients, plus the fly shop and deli at our disposal for preparing lunches and outfitting our clients! The camp allows us to host our clients onsight plus provide a unique service to them with our facilities.
As a result of our proximity to the river, and that they are awesome... our guides are some of the busiest on the river! Many choosing to live at the camp seasonally. The river is in their backyard, and they live and breath fly fishing the Deschutes all season long!
